Enough Is Enough

16 July 2015

After abuses and atrocities were frequently being perpetrated by armed opposition groups in areas no longer under regime control, a group of civil activists gathered to discuss these violations and come up with a valid solution, especially after these violations have stretched to repeated killings and abductions, starting with the death of child Mohammad Qatta, and the arrests that reached activists such as, Abu Maryam, Samar Saleh and many others.

After a series of meetings and debates, activists decided to move their protestations to a wider range, by organizing campaigns and activities including demonstrations and sit-ins in front of the headquarters of battalions and groups that are responsible for these violations, in addition to "organizing activities that address the problems we are facing in opposition-held areas, like vehicles without number plates, under the name Enough Is Enough" says one of the activists to Syria Untold.

Most of the group's activities focus on monitoring and protesting these misdemeanors, in order to deliver a crystal clear message to everyone that the time of tyranny is over, and that the possibility of renewing or modifying it under any title is zero to none, and that any wrongdoing will be protested against and condemned, i.e. Enough is enough to all corruptors and abusers, enough is enough to those who are violating human rights, either intentionally or out of ignorance.

Like most independent voices, the group suffers from lack of funding Therefor, it relies on its own members for financing campaigns and activities, "with some help that was limited to IT equipment., in addition, several members of the group received training, to acquire campaign-organizing and electronic skills. In order to overcome financing issues the activists have cooperated with many other groups , that hold the same ideals and goals.

The group firmly believes that Syrians will not subside or sit back when these men are trying to enslave  them with arms and weaponry, but this fight is not going to hold them back from their main cause, which is fighting against the regime.
