Activist Maisa Saleh was awarded the 2015 Anna Politkovskaya Award for investigative journalism, for her program From the Capital. In the program, Saleh donned a disguise and conducted interviews with revolutionaries right under the regime’s nose from Damascus. From the Capital was aired on Orient TV, a Syrian channel that relocated to Dubai after the uprising.
