Because love and peace are music.

Lately, in Syria, it has become very unusual for a group of people to gather around just to have fun. Usually people gather around at the mosque to pray, a protest, a funeral, or a long night of planning.

On July 20th, however, a group of young musicians decided to break that and bring hope out for people walking down the street just randomly reminding everyone that we can still forget about the fear we live in and can gather around safely, unafraid, and unfiltered by ones opinions for few minutes.

The music played in a scene that seemed to be wearied at first, then everyone started blending in together. People gathered, clapped and danced to the music that was random. Older ladies with younger gentlemen, those who are wearing Hijab with young ladies that were not, everyone gathered in a circle of fun.

After the music was done playing everyone walked back to what they were doing carrying around with them moments of life outside of the shell.
