Ahmad Othman died wearing FC Barcelona team uniform.

#Tweet4SyrianChild is an ongoing twitter campaign that aims to highlight stories of Syrian children who were killed by the Assad troops. The campaign tells the stories of different children from all over Syria.

This week the campaign shared a picture of the child Ahmad Othman. Ahmad Othman, from the town of Al-Bayda in Banias, was killed on May 2, 2013. His young age of 15 years is not all that makes Ahmad's story worth telling. He also had a deep love for the Spanish soccer team FC Barcelona. Ahmad loved FC Barcelona to the point of wearing their uniform almost all the time, and he even died while wearing it.

It is likely that Ahmad dreamed of one day joining the team. He may have had some long conversations with others his age, fighting about who the best and worst players are. He possibly even spent many nights celebration FC Barcelona's victories.

Ahmad, like many others in Syria, had dreams; simple ones, big ones and even regular ones. He and others his age are the real future of Syria. They are the soccer players, doctors, architects, and artists of the future, and that is why the regime kills them.
